Must I Think?

I'm known for my mildly impressive pot luck additions. Nothing amazing but it looks or tastes that way. Peach lemonade with fresh peaches and lemons. They were fighting over who got the last of it. Fruit and yogurt parfait with cranberry granola and fresh blueberries and raspberries. But I've learned something. There is always too much food. I looked at the list and the only thing to drink is orange juice. I love o.j. much more than the average person but I decided instead of pouring over Rach's site anymore, I'll just grab that tin of mint cocoa sitting in my kitchen from Trader Joe's, put it in pretty packaging, and write a calligraphy note with the instructions. They will all love it.

*Watching Super Sweet 16... as much as I sometimes like this show, it's like Bridezilla in training. Do you really think no matter how much money I have my kids will talk like this??!! Do you?! No indeed. Not if they like their teeth.

That sounds like a plan... How come people always try to bring the cheapest drinks possible? I love your idea, but I'm really wishing I could get some of that peach lemonade.

yo, simple living is always best. thinking smart homie :-)

i can't do ss16, they are too young to act like that. and i know MTV asks them to get a lil extra for the camer so i really can't stand it.

I'd tell my kids that they could pay for the sweet 16 with a paper route or something. And if I had a child that talked to me like how some of these crazy kids talk to their mommas, junior's getting popped in the lip.

I HATE SWEET 16....it was cool when it was celebrity children, you expect that...but then you get these regular rich-snotty-bratty kids, and I want to slap one of em. Makes my heart beat all fast.....

"....it's like Bridezilla in training. "...LMAO! So freakin true. ..it's almost scary. Their parents should watch the Bridezilla shows to see what their future holds. Maybe then they will opt out of the $200K party and $75K car.

LOL it all comes down to what their friends sound like.

Sweet 16 = Wack. I would kill my kids if they ever act like that.

I don't understand how the parents even think that spending $100,000 for a sweet sixteen is cute. If I spoke to my parents the way some of those lil baby bridezillas do, I would have been in an instant chokehold, WWE style. That wouldn't fly in my family. Not.At.All.

No, not hate. Sly or otherwise. I wasn't talking about you. I meant those people that always try to bring offbrand sodas to the potluck. The $.50 Sams choice sodas. Your drink selection was magnificent!
