I love the people in my life who are closest to me. I hate their interrogations. My mom, my sister, Stace and the bf have this thing they do. They'll ask me a question. I'll say I don't know. They'll ask it in a different way, maybe change 3 or 4 words. I'll say I don't know. This time they'll ask eliminating 4 or FIVE words (notice the difference?). I yell, "I DON'T KNOW!!!" Then they get defensive or accusatory or sheepish and try to make me look like the asshole. Ladies, gentlemen, boys, girls, shems, GLBT, ALL OF YOU!! Asking the same question multiple ways will NOT yield a different answer.... I. DON'T. KNOW!!
*NOTE*
(There was no particular event that yielded this post. I'm just inordinately bored today and restless.)

**claps, stands up, whistles** I HATE THAT too!! More becasue I hate being questioned, not because they ask different ways. LOL...aww Jam, thanks for the post, it needed to be stated because most people don't even know they do it, let alone that it bothers people ;-)
I'm surprised I ain't done this. I am rounding out my third week at my first job and here goes my mom and dad. Though they have been divorce for 12 yrs, they talk on the phone all the time. I think they be tryin to tag teaming me.
Background: I'ma a serious tomboy and my job has a dress code that I hate!!
Like country black folx, they think you need to be dressed up to go to the damn grocery store!!
Aww lawd speak on it. And why even once one gives an honest answer, even an "I don't know" in the special way that we say it must be an asshole. If you don't like my answers, stop asking questions.
I am feeling you J, oh boy am I feeling you!
madame... hahahahahaha. STOP QUESTIONING ME! hilarious. i told my mom abt this post and she was like i deny that. i had to bring up an event YESTERDAY!! these people are bananas!! hahahahahahahaha.
v.... my parents speak regularly, too though they've been separated since i was 13, divorced since i was 17. and they def. like to tag team me or tell on me to each other. it is craziness!!!! lmao @get dressed up to go to the grocery store. hilarious.
cnel... and i know i have that "special way" down! hahahahaha
dream... hahahahahaha. faaaabulous.
people don't question what I say, they act like they can't hear me. I'm a soft speaker by nature, so everyone's like "huh, what I can't hear you." I hate repeating myself, so a unique stalemate ensues. I eventually relent and say what I was saying louder than before.
"tell on me to each other"
LMAO!!!!! That is tooo much!! yo, parents, whether they are together or not LOVE to tell! I tell them, 'snitches get stitches'
and as for your post, whatever. don't be mad that you don't understand, me, BF, or Momma E's question... simpleton.
chris... i'm loud!! i know they hear me!! assholes.
stace... they def. talk all the time to each other. so annoying. did you just call me a simpleton? whatever blonde.
I thought my mom was the only person who did that. IT DRIVES ME CRAZY. I think partly she forgets that she just asked me, or maybe she thinks I'm slow and didn't understand her question. Good thing is, her asking the same question a number of different ways has helped me craft questions to get different responses about the same topic from sources. So I guess, thanks mom, for asking me the same question 10 million times. :-)
t... well damn! maybe it will help me one day. i hope so!
